Latteri, Jean (Birmingham), 92, of Woodland Park NJ, formerly of Clifton NJ, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Feb 10th. Jean was born and raised in Milford, Massachusetts. She came to New Jersey to study nursing at the Margaret Hague in Jersey City, and earned her RN. She worked for many years at Passaic General Hospital as a head nurse. After marrying her husband Sal Latteri, she worked side-by-side at the family business, the Dayton Restaurant in Botany Village, Clifton. Jean was an instrumental part in the successful Urban Renewal project in Botany Village. Upon their retirement, Jean and Sal were snow birds, spending the winter months at their condo in Hallandale, Florida.
Jean was the daughter of the late William Birmingham and Gladys Mahar Birmingham. Loving mother to Cathy Latteri-Burke and John of Woodland Park. Alana Latteri-Pollastro and Jerry of Clifton. Anthony Latteri of Nyack NY and beloved friend Jennifer Pirovano. Bill Latteri and Antoinette of Randolph. Loving and proud grandmother to Erin Burke-Saba and Rodrigo. Matthew, Brandon, Samantha, and Christopher Latteri, and adoring great-grandmother of Addison Saba. She was pre-deceased by her loving and devoted soulmate and husband Sal Latteri, and loving grandchildren, Zach Latteri and Daniel Listmeier.
Arrangements by Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue. Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 15th at St. Clare RC Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery.
