Jan Kosciolek

Kosciolek, Jan, 85 of Clifton, passed away on June 30, 2015. Beloved husband of Anna (Hunczak) Kosciolek. Loving father of Mary Karlak, Helen Habura and her husband Bogdan Habura and Daria Kosciolek. Devoted grandfather of John Karlak & his wife Angelica, Michael Karlak & his wife Sabrina, Erik Habura, Cassandra Habura and Alexander Habura. Dear brother of Stefan Kosciolek and his wife Anna, Anna Wasiw and her husband Wasyl and sister-in-law Maria Kosciolek. He was predeceased by his brother Antoni Kosciolek and sister Fewronia Leszczynski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Jan was born in Berest, Poland and moved to America in 1963, residing in Clifton most of his life. He worked as a machine operator at Bergen Cable Technologies in Lodi for 44 years. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic and was also a member of the St. Nicholas Senior Club.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 8:45 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery – So Hackensack. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas Thursday at 7:30 PM.
