James Van Dorn

Van Dorn, James, 84 of Clifton on September 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Maria Van Dorn (Di Biasi). Loving father to James Van Dorn Jr. and his wife Marge of Clifton. Grandfather to Colleen and Holly. Brother to Ira Cook Van Dorn from Toms River. Brother-in-law to Vincent and Patsy Di Biasi. He is also survived by his good friend Donald Fraiser. He was predeceased by his first wife Phyllis Domenick and his brothers John, Richard and Edward. Mr. Van Dorn was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Clifton D.P.W. for 26 years. He also worked for Manhattan Rubber for 20 years. He was a member of The City of Clifton Retirement Club and the St. Paul s Leisure Club. He was also a parishioner and usher at St. Paul RC Church. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 9AM. Funeral mass at St. Paul RC Church at 9:30 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 & 7-9. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Paul RC Church.
