James Muldoons Mullen, The Most Loving Man Who Ever Lived, passed to a new life on April 21,2010. He was kind to all and beloved by those who knew him. A man of Great Humor and Fun. He was the adored father of Corinne, Jimmy and Karen. Most precious to him was his granddaughter, Dariana, with whom he shared love, laughter and endless Disney channel episodes. He was the loving companion to Marie Rossi for eleven years. He is survived by his brother Richard and his daughter-in-law Dawn. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Dolores in 1995 and his sisters Doris Mullen (Sr Christopher Sisters of Charity) and Marilyn Mulholland. He was known as The Great Muldoon to many friends. He was born in Bronx, New York and was educated at Fordham Prep and Iona. After a brief stint in the Merchant Marines, he served in the Army in the Korean War. He later was employed as the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor by The U.S. Postal Service in Paterson, New Jersey. Jim was a friend to every living creature, with an infectious laugh and smile. He was endlessly kind and giving. He set an example of how to live as a caring, loving person and he will be missed forever by every person who had the fortune to meet him. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 9:15 AM then Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church at 10 AM. Cremation Private. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Make a wish Foundation, Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in NY or any charity of your choice.
