James Basile

Basile, James, 93, of North Bergen on July 23, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Anna (D Aco)Basile. Loving father to Joseph Basile of Parsippany, James Basile of Millstone Twp., NJ, Frances Duda of Muncy, PA, Robert Basile of Clifton and John Basile of North Bergen. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Brother to Sal Basile of Wood Ridge, NJ, Mary Garramone of Middletown, NJ, Dolores De Gennaro of Secaucus, the late Mena Solomeyer & the late Robert Basile. Mr. Basile was born in Hoboken and lived in North Bergen since 1945. He was a steel worker for Crucible Steel in Harrison, NJ for 31 years and a Custodian at JFK Elementary School in North Bergen for 12 years; he was an Army Veteran of WWII and a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Union City. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Clare RC Church in Clifton at 10 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery.
