Irma Cimaglia

Irma Cimaglia (Candela), 100, of Clifton, passed away on May 28, 2021. Irma was born in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy on January 22, 1921 and moved to the United States in 1936 settling in Clifton. She was a seamstress, lifelong Yankees fan and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Clifton.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Everest Cimaglia. She is survived by her sons Richard and daughter-in-law Jennifer and Alex and daughter-in-law Ping; her brother Patsy Candela; grandchildren Allison and her husband Brian and Amanda and her husband Robert; great-grandchildren Samantha, Campbell and Max.

Visitation on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, NJ at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church at 10 AM. Entombment following at Calvary Cemetery.
