Irena Stankiewicz

Stankiewicz, Irena (Malinowski), 85, of Lodi on July 24,2010. Beloved wife of the late Adam. Loving mother to Christine & her husband Ted Stefaniszyn, Helen & her husband Ronald Kowalik, Theresa & her husband John Szucs, and George Stankiewicz & his wife Donna. Sister to George Malinowski and Alesandra Oleskiewicz. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Stankiewicz was born in Gelczyn, Poland and came to the US in 1957 from Faiford, England, settling in Passaic before moving to Lodi in 1972. She was a seamstress for Jackfin Company of Passaic for 30 years retiring in 1988. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church Garfield. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 8:45 AM followed by a 9:30 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church Garfield.. Interment Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9 PM. Memorial contributions to the Passaic Valley Hospice 783 Riverview Drive, Totowa NJ 07512 or Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church 188 Mac Arthur Avenue, Garfield NJ 07026 would be appreciated.
