Guido De Vita

De Vita, Guido, 90, of Clifton on February 7, 2012. Beloved husband of Jean (Mangravite) De Vita. Loving father to Irene De Vita of Clifton, Norine De Vita and her husband Lorenzo Rubinetti of Wayne, Diane De Vita and her husband Jan Chirco of Glen Ridge and Dr. Michael De Vita and his wife Susan of Wall. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Robert, Giancarlo, Jacqueline, Matthew, Marissa and Marco. Mr. De Vita was born in Bagnoli Del Trigno, Italy and came to the U.S. in 1947 settling in Clifton. He was a Coat and Suit Designer in New York City for over 40 years. Guido served in WWII as an Italian Soldier and was interred as prisoner of war in Hamberg, Germany. He was a parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 10:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church at 11 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
