Gerard J. Sommers

Sommers, Gerard J., 86, of Clifton on June 1, 2011. Beloved husband of Catherine Sommers. Loving father to Karen Sommers of Clifton, NJ. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces. Mr. Sommers was born in Hoboken, NJ and lived in Clifton since 1952. He was a Service Manager at De Massi Cadillac in Lyndhurst for over 50 years retiring in 1989. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of Clifton VFW Post 7165 and the Valley Seniors Social Club. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations to the St. Jude s Children s Hospital would be appreciated.
