Gelinda Menegus

MENEGUS, Gelinda Del Favero 96 of Haledon on May 24, 2007. Mrs. Menegus was born in San Vito de Cadore, Italy and came to the US in 1929 settling in Clifton and in 1961 to Haledon. Before retiring she was a Mender for the Boris Kroll Co in Paterson for 40 years and prior a Mender for Forstmann Woolen Mills in Garfield for 35 years. Gelinda was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton and a member of the St. Philip s Prime Timers; she attended St. Gerald s RC Church and Senior Club in Paterson and attended St. Paul s RC Church and Senior Group in Haledon. Mrs. Menegus is predeceased by her son Henry, 3 brothers Giovanni, Matteo & Rev. Lino Del Favero & 2 sisters Lucy Granito & Sister Maria Del Favero. Surviving is her son Vincent and his wife Jeanne of Easton, PA., 7 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday 9:30AM. Funeral Mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, 10AM Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 In lieu of flowers contributins to St. Philip the Apostle RC Church or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
