Frances Melia

Melia, Frances (Ingrasselino), 87 of Saylorburg, PA formerly of Garfield passed away on October 28, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Dominic Melia. Loving mother of Frances Prebish and son in law Paul of Saylorburg, PA and the late Linda Melia. In addition, Frances was survived by a large community of close family and friends, which was one of the most important parts of her life. Mrs. Melia was born in Garfield; she resided there for most of her life and moved to Pennsylvania 5 years ago. She was a seamstress for more than 20 years working for Merritt Garment in Garfield. After working at Merritt Garment she worked as a merchandiser at American Greeting Card Co. in Bergen County for 10 years. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church in Garfield where she was member of their Rosary Altar Society. She was also member of Our Lady s Guild at Our Lady of Victory RC Church in Tannersville, PA. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church at 10 AM. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery.
