Fernanda E. Battistuz

Battistuz, Fernanda E., 95, of Clifton on July 8, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Angelo G. Battistuz. Loving mother of Sister Lucy Battistuz of Nutley, Angelo F. Battistuz of San Diego, CA and Victor Battistuz of Clifton. Sister to Giovanni Rupolo of Stevena di Caneva, Italy, Assunta Gava from Windsor, Ontario, Canada and the late Luisa Lenisa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Battistuz was born in Stevena di Caneva, Italy and lived in Clifton since 1940. She was an order processor at Betmar Hats Factory in Passaic for many years, prior to that she worked at Fortsmann Woolen in Passaic for 7 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton and a member of the Cordial Womens Club. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday July 19th, 2012 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10 AM. Cremation Private. Visiting Wednesday July 18th, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
