Ellen Riggio

Riggio, Ellen, 95, of Wayne on April 26, 2008. Beloved Aunt of Barbara Muller of Clifton, Eugene J. Paradiso of Clifton & James V. Riggio of Wayside. Sister of Eugene Riggio of Passaic (formerly of Wood Ridge). Miss Riggio is predeceased by her other siblings: James Riggio, Chester Riggio, Frank Riggio, Anna Riggio, Nellie Paradiso & Rose Veronelli. She is also survived by many nieces & a nephew. She was born in Passaic and lived most of her life in the Passaic/ Clifton Area before moving to Wayne in 2000. Miss Riggio earned her BA degree from the Eastman School of Music Rochester, NY & her masters from Teacher s College at Columbia University, NYC and attended Julliard School of Music, NY. She attended and taught at the Greenwich House Music School in NYC. Miss Riggio was also a teacher at School # 1 in Passaic for 21 years. She was a parishioner of St. Paul RC Church Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral mass at Saint Paul RC Church 10 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery Visiting Monday 2-4 7-9.. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Anthony s Guild 4 Jersey Street, East Rutherford, NJ 07073 would be appreciated.
