Ella C. Davis

Davis, E. Christine, Retired Church Organist of the Second Baptist Church, passed away February 27, 2012 of Hillside, formerly of Paterson, New Jersey. As Organist with the Second Baptist, Mrs. Davis was Director of the Senior Choir and the Young Adult Choir. She was also an organist for 15 years at the former E. Lee White Funeral Home. After 50 years of dedicated service on October 27, 1997 she retired as Second Baptist s Church Organist. She was the widow of the late Charles E. Davis. She is survived by her loving daughter Anita C. Flanigan and her devoted friend Ella Hansford. Aunt to Sheila A. James, Roslyn, Pauldo, Charisse Taylor of Paterson, NJ, Shawndray James of Texas, Archer James Jr. and Minister Andrew J. Sims, Jr. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews. Visiting on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a Funeral Service at the Powell-Marrocco Funeral Home 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton. Cremation Private.
