Edward Demeny Jr.

Edward D Demeny Jr., 74, of Hallandale Beach, Florida passed away at his home on September 12th, 2016. He was the son of the late Edward Demeny and Stella Demeny (Mendyk). Ed is survived by two daughters, Krista Demeny of Naples, FL, Lori and Matt Gilham of Bellflower, CA, three granddaughters and many family and friends.

Ed was born in Wallington, New Jersey on March 14th, 1942. He served in the United States Navy from 1960-1964. Stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia, on the USS Tutuila (ARG-4), an internal combustion service repair ship. Ed worked in the binocular lab. After leaving the Navy, he returned to New Jersey where he resided until moving to Florida in 1977.

A funeral service will take place at Marrocco Memorial Chapel in Clifton, New Jersey on December 12, 2016 from 10 am – 12 pm. Immediately followed by a Military graveside service at St Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack, NJ.
