De Boer, Douglas, 43 of Clifton, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2018. Beloved son of George William De Boer, Jr. and the late Linda De Boer. Dear brother to Gary De Boer. Loving father to Alexa De Boer. Former Husband to Jennifer Anne De Boer. Dear nephew to Lois & her husband Richard Prins, Lois De Boer, Audrey and her husband Joel Stranburg, Betty Ann Van Riper, former son-in-law to Louise Norman, Harry & Donna Norman, former brother-in-law to Sarah Schwarz & her husband Paul and to Scott Norman. Dear uncle to James Schwarz, McKenzie and Tyler Norman. Loved by many cousins and friends.

Douglas was born in Paterson and lived in Clifton. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Minnesota Vikings.

Viewing hours will be on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Marrocco Memorial Chapel – 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton. A Religious Service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM. Marine Corps Honor Guard will be performing Funeral Honors at 6PM.
