Marcucci, Donald, 70 of Clifton, passed away on January 2, 2022. Donald was a kind, caring and intelligent soul with generosity that knew no bounds. All who knew him adored his warm and friendly personality and enjoyed his vast knowledge about history. A music buff, he enjoyed listening to The Beatles, and he had a passion for reading. He enjoyed traveling and caring for our dad, Jules and accompanied dad everywhere until dad's passing five years ago. After that, Sunday dinner was always the plan at his sister's home to keep the family traditions and sibling connection alive and well. Deep and spirited conversations with his nephew JP about history and the world enlightened all who sat at the table. He loved visiting his brother Bobby & his wife Judy in North Carolina for some R & R. Donald was a member of the Italian-American Club in Clifton, NJ.
He exhibited early in life passion for the printing arts and created beautiful embossed leather belts and handbags. Opportunities were afforded to him in the Arnold Bread and Mutual Biscuit
Companies and he flourished running two businesses in Bergen County. He moved on to being a distributor in the pizza industry. Later in life, he worked at Sacred Heart School in Clifton.
Predeceased by his parents Julius and Elizabeth Marcucci (nee Costantini). He is survived by his brother Robert and spouse Judy of Kernersville, NC, his sister Michele and spouse Gary of Clifton, NJ, and his beloved nephew and godson, John Paul Zaccone of Clifton, NJ, along with many cousins.
