Candela, Connie (Lalicata),78, of Garfield on February 17, 2013. Beloved wife of Pasquale Patsy Candela. Loving mother to Lisa Terranova of Garfield & Joy Stone of The Woodlands, TX.. Loving grandmother to Alyssa, Caroline & Allie. Sister to Eleanor Deterlizzi of Staten Island, NY. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Mrs. Candela was born in West New York, NJ and lived in Garfield since 1961. She had worked as an embroiderer. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrow RC Church and a member of the Garfield Senior Center. Family & Friends are invited to a funeral mass on Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting on Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Jude s Children s Hospital would be appreciated.
