Celsa Anna Donenghi

Celsa Anna Donenghi. a long time resident of Clifton New Jersey, entered eternal life on Thursday, December 28, 2024. She was 97. 

Celsa was born in the municipality of Deiva Marina, in the province of La Spezia, Italy to Angelo and Maria. 

Before retiring, she worked at Fashion Clothing Company in Paterson, NJ (garment industry) as a floor girl. 

Celsa had a great passion for gardening (having a green thumb). She enjoyed being outside, being in the sun and going to the beach. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She always tried to remain active. She was a loving, caring mother who was always positive and uplifting. She was the Best!

Celsa was also a member of the Botany Seniors.

She is survived by her loving son, Giancarlo "John", and her loving daughter, Mary Donenghi, and several cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Celsa was predeceased by her husband Donato, her brother Luigi, and her sister Primarosa.

Visiting will be held 3-7pm, Thursday, January 2, 2025, Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Friday,  January 3rd, Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 145 Randolph Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011. Celsa will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 58 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07513.
