Allen, Catherine (Yackovich), 89 of Haskell, passed away on September 1, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Allen. Loving mother of Karen Gensure & her husband Steve, Arthur Allen & his wife Nora, Robert Allen & his wife Leda and the late Kenneth and Gary Allen. Dear sister of Edward Yackovich and Eleanor Yackovich. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Allen was born in Binghamton, New York and lived in Haskell for the past 15 years. She was a spot welder for 11 years working for ITT in Nutley. She was a member of the Sisterhood St. Barbara of Assumption of the Holy Virgin and a Life Member of the DAV Auxiliary Chapter #2 in Clifton.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Church at 10 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
