Carmen Franco

Franco, Carmen of Clifton on July 31, 2006. Beloved father of Al Franco of Clifton, Gerald Franco of Belleville & the late Chester Franco. Brother of Rose Savino of Jackson & Sadie Pollato of Newark. Mr. Franco is also survived by 10 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Born in Newark, he moved to Clifton in 1950. Mr. Franco was a self employed painter for 30 years and he also owned the Lakeview Inn in Clifton for 7 years. He was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran and a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church located in Clifton. Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 9:30 AM. St. Philip the Apostle RC Church 10 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Thursday 2-4 7-9
