Bruno M. Fontani

Fontani, Bruno, 88 of Clifton on February 25, 2011. Beloved husband of Erminia (Vidak) Fontani. Loving father to Vivian C. Fontani. Brother to Elizabeth Sasso. Uncle to Raymond Sasso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in the U.S and Europe. Mr. Fontani was born in Treviso, Italy and grew up in Verona, Italy; he came to the U.S. in 1954 settling in Clifton. He was an operative worker at Shulton in Clifton for 5 years retiring in 1986; prior to that he worked in textiles at Fabian in Lodi for 20 years. He was Past President of the Italian American Family Association in Clifton. He was also a member and past recording secretary for the Old Friends Beneficial Club in Clifton. He was a Numismatist and received several awards for his Italian coin collection in the late 1960 s. He always greeted his friends as Capitano .
