Barbara Deutschbauer

Deutschbauer, Barbara (O Haus), 94, of Wenonah, NJ on August 14, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Gede (killed in action in WWII) and the late Steve Deutschbauer (WWII Veteran). Loving mother to Steve Jr. and his wife Beth of Wenonah, NJ and Barbara Holtzman and her husband Paul of Woodland Park. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Albert Lewis and Beth Bica and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Deutschbauer was born in Passaic and lived in the Passaic/Clifton area for most of her life before moving to Wenonah 1 years ago. She was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Church in Passaic and a Charter member of the American Legion Women s Auxiliary # 347 and a member of DAV Women s Auxiliary. During WWII she was president and Chief Negotiator for the Passaic Local of the United Ladies Garment Workers Association. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 9:15 AM then Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity RC Church at 10 AM. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
