Raia, Anthony,97, of Russell, PA passed away on May 17, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Herthel Raia, Loving father of Anna & her Husband Dr. David Di Marco, Anthony Raia Jr.& his wife Lesley & the late Ellen Myers.. Brother of the late Charles, Joseph, Jack & Carl Raia & the late Mamie Caravella, Lucy Graham, Lillian Raia & Margaret Van Haeren. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren & 4 great Grandchildren.
Mr. Raia was born in Garfield and lived in New Jersey before moving to Orrtanna, PA and more recently to Russell, PA.
He was a self-employed contractor and a World War II Army Veteran.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Tuesday at 9:15 AM then a funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church – Garfield at 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Monday 6-8 PM
Mr. Raia was born in Garfield and lived in New Jersey before moving to Orrtanna, PA and more recently to Russell, PA.
