Grandfather of Melissa Russin, Anthony R. Neglia & Kimberlee & her husband Michael Doktor. Brother of Jennie Ciuppa of Wayne & Marion Neglia of West Caldwell. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton and Cape Coral, Florida. He was a parishioner & member of the Antonians at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church Passaic & a member of St. Katherine Drexal RC Church Cape Coral, Florida Mr. Neglia was a Graduate of Julliard School of Music,attended Columbia University school of music & Fairleigh Dickinson University and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict Mr. Neglia was a machinist & Maintenance supervisor for 27 years for Uniroyal Passaic then he worked for 20 years for American Cyanamid in Linden as Maintenance Superintendent He was Director of the Passaic County Sheriff Department Marching Band & the Passaic Concert Band Mr. Neglia was a member(since 1940)and the President of the American Federation of Musician Local #248, Served as Chairman of the M.M.P.B.U., was a Delegate for the A.F.M. National Convention for 20 years, Past President of the NJ State council A.F.M. Conference. He was a member of the Passaic/Clifton Unico National, the Quinton Roosevelt American Legion Post #8 a Life member of the VFW Post #4591 Hasbrouck Heights, Life member - Knights of Columbus E.G. Alberque Council #2229 Ridgefield, NJ, Past Vice Commodore , Past Financial Secretary & Life member of North Hudson Yacht Club, Past President of the Grove Hill Estates Condo Assoc. Clifton, Past President of the Moorings Condo Assoc. Cape Coral, Florida Parade Committee for the annual Labor Day Botto House National Labor Museum Parade Musician for the Festa Italiano Westport, Conn for 20 years and Member of the Geraci Citizen League of Passaic/Clifton Funeral from Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Monday at 9:15 AM Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church Passaic at 10 AM . Interment St. Mary s Cemetery Visiting Saturday 7-9 & Sunday 2-4 & 7-9
