Anthony "Buff" Furino

Furino, Anthony Buff , 91, of East Rutherford on November 29,2009. Beloved husband of the late Mildred (Roach). Loving father to Shelly Ahmed and her husband Ahmed of Rutherford. & the late Sharon O Dea. Grandfather to Jason, Noah & Jared. Mr. Furino is predeceased by his siblings: Josephine Negele, Nancy Nosal, Marie Furino, Jeanette Vargo, Mar Furino and Paul Furino. Mr. Furino was born in Passaic and lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to East Rutherford 2o years ago. He was the owner of Buff Cheese Store in Botany Village Clifton where he had worked since 1941. He was a World War II army veteran and Past Commander of the American Legion Post #347 Clifton. He also was past vice commander of the Passaic County American Legion. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 8:45 AM.. Funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church 9:30 AM. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
