Anthony D'Amato

D Amato, Anthony, 91, of Clifton on February 17, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Providence (Palmeri) D Amato. Loving father to Peter and his wife Mary Jane of Oyster Bay Cove, NY, Sebbie and his wife Janine of Succasunna and Maria Ginn and her husband Alan of Swanzey, NH. Grandfather to Peter & his wife Angie, Gregg & his wife Lori, Marissa Clements & her husband Ryan, Andrea Ginn, Dana D Amato and Anthony D Amato. Great Grandfather to Andrew, Benjamin, James & Nicholas. Brother of Rose Ciancarelli of West Babylon, NY. Mr. D Amato was born in NYC, NY and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Clifton 15 years ago. He was Plant Manager for Allied Carbon & Ribbon Manufacturing in Manhattan, were he worked for 25 years. Mr. D Amato was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the St. Philip s Knights of Columbus Clifton and a 4th. degree member of the Monsignor Stein Assembly # 645. Mr. D Amato was also a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church in Clifton and a member of the St. Andrew s 39 Club. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 8:30 AM then Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
