Anna Skirka

Skirka, Anna ( Wetlinska), 91, of Garfield died on November 22, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Skirka. Loving mother of Mary Krol & her husband Richard of Livingston & Andrew Skirka and his wife Gloria of Union City, Michigan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Skirka was born in Wola Michowa, Poland and came to the US in 1949 settling in Iowa for 2 years before moving to Passaic then to Garfield where she lived most of her life. She worked as an assembly worker for Westinghouse Electric in Bloomfield for 10 year and was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parastas 7:30 PM. in lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer s Association would be appreciated. www.marroccos.com
