Anna Gres

Gres, Anna (Perun), 80, of Clifton passed away on July 3, 2018. Beloved wife of Peter Gres. Loving mother of Christine & her husband Robert Brendel of North Caldwell and Susie & her husband Paul Wolfer of Cedar Grove. Cherished grandmother of Lucas, Sam, Ben and Josh. Anna was predeceased by her beloved first born child Bohdan in 1980. She often spoke of him and was grateful to God for giving her four beautiful grandsons and two wonderful sons-in-law.

Anna was born in Pentna Lemkivshchyna in Western Ukraine and lived in Clifton for many years. Anna was an assembler at Hoffman La Roche in Nutley. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, the St. Nicholas Seniors Club and the Organization for the Defense of Lemkivshchyna, all in Passaic.

Anna’s main mission in life was to dote on her family. Daily caring for her precious husband of 60 years. What a team they were! To say that she will be sorely missed by all who knew her is an understatement. She was our angel on earth. We love and miss you already.

Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel - 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton on Saturday at 8:45 AM then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM. Parastas Friday at 7:30 PM.
