Alfred Belfi

Belfi, Alfred, 83, of Clifton on January 23. 2009. Beloved husband of the late Aurora (De Bartoli) Belfi. Loving father to Roger Belfi & his wife Diane of Clifton, Glenn Belfi of Saddle Brook & Dennis Belfi & Liz of Clifton. Brother to Virginia Nochta of Garfield. Devoted Grandfather to Jessie, William, Joseph & Brianna .Great Grandfather to Vanessa Mr. Belfi was born in Garfield and lived in Indiana for several years where he worked as a farmer before moving back to Garfield He moved to Clifton in 2005. He was a Truck Mechanic with Whippany Paper Board Co. Clifton for 30 years. Mr. Belfi was the owner of Belfi s Auto Truck Repair in Lodi & Garfield since 1980. He served in the US Army from 1946 1947 and was a member of the AMVETS - Garfield and the Italian American Family Association of Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 10AM. Interment St. Mary s Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
