Alfio G. Dal Pan

Dal Pan M.D., Alfio G., 86, of Clifton on March 30, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary Peggie (Wells) Dal Pan. Loving father to Gerald and his wife Kathi Grasso of Washington, DC; Alexandra Dal Pan Cummiskey and her husband Peter of Greenwich, CT; Marisa Dal Pan of Coral Gables, FL; step-father to Robert Risk of Andover. Step-grandfather to Jon and Shane Risk. Dr. Dal Pan was born in Clifton and lived in Paterson and Ridgewood before moving back to Clifton 28 years ago. He graduated from college at NYU in 1952 and in 1957 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Padua in Italy. He was an Intern at Passaic General Hospital and completed his residency at Martland Medical Center. He had his private practice in Fair Lawn from 1963 to 1993, subsequently working at St. Joseph s Hospital & Medical Center in Paterson. He was a member of the A.M.A, the Passaic County Medical Society and the Medical Society of NJ. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a parishioner of St. Brendan RC Church in Clifton. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Saturday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Brendan RC Church at 10 AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson.
