Aida Tactuk, age 86, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Aida was born in Guaymate, La Romana, Dominican Republic on January 2, 1935 to Juan Jose Acosta & Rita Elsa Barreto de Acosta. Aida was one of eleven children.
Aida married Oscar Tactuk in 1956 and they immigrated to the United States in 1989. A devoted wife, stay at home mom and grandmother. Aida was the matriarch of her family and was always there for everyone when needed.
Aida will forever be remembered by her children: Rafael, Juan, Zoraida and Sahara, her siblings: Celeste and Jose. Her memory will always be cherished by her eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org . A service celebrating Aida’s life will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Marrocco Memorial Chapel - 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey 07013.
